Karate Camps Will Keep Your Child Engaged And Making New Friends!

Throughout the year, we have 1-day and 1-week karate camps. We time them to match holidays, school breaks, summer vacation and CDFISD / LISD Teacher Training Days. Most of the kids in camp are current students trying to earn stripes and belts, but camps are also good for kids who’ve never done karate before. New kids get a uniform and white belt; after camp, they get Four Weeks Free to try the program!

Our Karate, Sports and Self Defense camps are good for kids at all levels. Advanced students show up to fine tune material, and we have kids in every camp who've never done any sort of martial arts before.

About 80% of the kids in each camp will be current karate students at the studio, and we have a large staff of Black Belts and Junior Black Belts here to help teach. It's normal for experienced kids to move up during or soon after camp, and it's normal for new kids to reach yellow belt at the end of their first camp.

In addition to the camps below, we'll have 1-day camps whenever CFB-ISD and LISD have Teacher Training Days. If you're lookingfor a great place for your kid to spend the day when school is out, you've come to the right place! You can pay for individual days, or purchase a week of camps and use the days for individual service days.

2017 – 2018 Camp Schedule

We offer 1-Day and All-Week Camps throughout the year!

Our camps feature lots of karate and lots of fun! Our camp grid features 30 minute blocks of activities, sports, fitness and karate with 15 minute breaks. New kids in camp will receive a new student gear bundle at the start of camp, and FOUR WEEKS FREE at the end of camp. We work hard in camp to make sure campers leave feeling like they've made progress. They earn stripes and belts, and they learn or improve their skills.

Camp fees include multi-kid and multi-camp discounts! You can pay for one day of camp at a time, but you can lower your daily average fee to as low as $34.50 by purchasing enough camps to last the year.  You can register for individual camps later; we will make announcements if a camp is about to be sold out.

1 Day of Camp = $75
1 camp (5 days) = $275 /  2 camps (10 days) = $520 / 3 camps (15 days) = $750 / 4 camps (20 days) = $9605 camps (25 days) = $1150 /  6 camps (30 days) = $1320 / 7 camps (35 days) = $1470 /  8 camps (40 days) = $1600

Additional camp (more than 8) are just $200 each!

Additional Information

  • The mutli-camp and multi-kid discount is built right into the camp pricing! The more you do, the less you pay per individual camp.
  • New campers (and kids who've been off the mat for a while) receive a New Student Gear Bundle - including a uniform, white belt, karate training guide and a string backpack to keep it all organized.
  • You'll get Four Weeks Free to try out the rest of the karate program! You can do the free time before camp, so you'll get more out of camp; after, to keep the energy and progression going; or put the camp in the middle. However you do it, you'll get the whole 'karate studio' experience.
  • All camps start at 8AM and go to 4:30PM, but you can drop off as early as 7:15AM and pick up by 6PM. Juniors staying for evening classes can stay right through until the end of class at 6PM, 7PM, or even 7:30PM, depending on the day of the week!
  • We'll be 'working the grid' in camp, with 30 minute blocks of activities that build on earlier blocks and lead the way into new blocks. We'll divide up by age and by belt level at different times, for age- and skill-appropriate training and fun.
  • Snacks, lunch, and juice drinks are included. Lunch is 'social time'. Kids can watch the movie, or split up to watch their own movies on tablets, read or listen to music together.
  • Campers can BRING A FRIEND for free for one day of camp.
  • Wear shorts and t-shirt at the start of the day, but bring the karate uniform for the middle. We'll do sports, drills, exercises until 10AM, switch to karate until 2:30PM, and then back to sports for the last hour or two of camp.
  • Got the Black Stripe on your belt? You get 10% off with Promo Code 'Black Stripe'. No Black Stripe? Talk to us about getting it and saving on camps, clothes, gear and more!
  • Camp will take place at the studio in Carrollton.

Do you have a Dependent Child Care FSA? Funds from your FSA can be used to pay for Karate Summer Camps. We can provide our federal ID number and an invoice for the amount used for camp fees.
